About The Position

The Kitter follows detailed recipes and formulations to prepare ingredients accurately and in accordance with current revision numbers. The role coordinates with staging personnel, verifies ingredient information, weighs and documents materials, and applies labels. It also includes cleaning and sanitizing work areas, checking raw materials and finished products for compliance with company standards, and following applicable safety regulations, company policies, and Integrated Management Systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Effective multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
Basic math skills for accurate measurement and documentation.
Proficiency in basic computer use, including data entry and inventory tracking.
Forklift license, or willingness to obtain one.

Previous experience in a food production environment.

Responsibilities

Follow detailed recipes and formulations, using the correct and current revision numbers.
Communicate with staging personnel to support timely and accurate ingredient delivery to the raw prep area.
Verify ingredient codes and descriptions against recipes or formulations.
Weigh ingredients accurately using balance scales and other measuring equipment.
Complete batch sheets with correct lot numbers and ingredient codes, and apply labels using provided stickers.
Clean and sanitize weighing and prep areas at the beginning and end of each shift.
Perform required checks and quality analyses on raw materials and finished products to confirm they meet company standards.
Follow health, occupational, environmental, and food safety regulations and company policies.
Comply with the company’s Integrated Management Systems, including Production, Quality, Food Safety, and GMP requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
