About The Position

This is a full-time Kitchen Utility position. The role involves preparing tableware for washing, operating and maintaining the dishwashing machine, washing and storing dishes, cleaning equipment and work areas, handling pots, removing garbage, and mopping/sweeping floors. The work environment is diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven, and requires multi-project coordination, prioritizing, and flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests and changes. Requirements

• Ability to prepare tableware for washing.
• Ability to operate and maintain a dishwashing machine.
• Ability to wash and store dishes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tableware for washing, including scraping plates and pre-soaking silver.
• Place all items to be washed in their proper rack.
• Set up the dishwashing machine, ensuring proper drainage, tank levels, and detergent levels.
• Wash dishes and stack/store china in the appropriate kitchen area.
• Thoroughly clean dishwashing equipment and working areas.
• Collect, wash, and restack all soiled pots on shelves.
• Responsible for the removal of all garbage.
• Mop and sweep floors.
