Kitchen Utility/ Dishwasher - Per Diem

About The Position

RiverWoods is seeking a per diem kitchen utility/dishwasher worker to join its culinary team and support a resident-focused community. The role contributes to a fun environment and to residents’ daily quality of life. No prior experience is required, and a resume is not required to apply. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. The position involves nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Clean dishes, pots and pans, glassware, and silverware by hand or machine.
Transport clean, dry tableware to the appropriate places in dining rooms and kitchens.
Clean work areas, steam tables, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment.
Assist with cutting, peeling, and washing fruits and vegetables, as permitted by state youth laws.
Remove garbage from kitchen areas.
Sweep and thoroughly mop floors at the end of the shift.
Follow the daily sanitation cleaning schedule.
Check in and stock groceries.
Show broken or chipped glassware to the Sous Chef before discarding it.
Help set up and break down after special functions and deliver food to various areas as needed.
