About The Position

RiverWoods is seeking a per diem kitchen utility worker/dishwasher to join its culinary team and support a resident-focused community. The role contributes to the daily operation and sanitation of kitchens and dining areas, assists with food preparation and stocking, and supports special functions. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Clean dishes, pots and pans, glassware, and silverware by hand or machine.
Transport clean, dry tableware to the appropriate places in dining rooms and kitchens.
Clean working areas, steam tables, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment.
Assist with cutting, peeling, and washing fruits and vegetables, as permitted by state youth laws.
Remove garbage from kitchen areas.
Sweep and thoroughly mop floors at the end of the shift.
Follow the daily sanitation cleaning schedule.
Check in and stock groceries.
Show broken or chipped glassware to the Sous Chef before discarding it.
Help set up and break down after special functions.
Deliver food to various areas as needed.
