About The Position

The Kitchen Utility position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained, and adhering to health department regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work Weekends, Nights and Holidays.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Smiles, provides exceptional customer service, and always treats guests and coworkers with respect.
  • Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
  • Properly deep cleans and maintains kitchen equipment to ensure longevity and desired results are achieved.
  • Sweep, mop, buff scrub kitchen floors as needed.
  • Works clean, and in a safe and sanitary manner at all times.
  • Must abide by all health department rules/regulations.
  • Understands time and temperature controls and has a working knowledge of food safety.
  • Knowledgeable in the products the company serves.
  • Sets and keeps workstation and the surrounding areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized.
  • Follows the company’s attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations set forth in the handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned.
