Requirements

Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Demonstrate a commitment to servant leadership as a core value of the Vicious Biscuit brand.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Food safety and alcohol certifications recommended and will be required after 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

BOH team members tasks include sauté, fry station, biscuit build, point, prep, dishwasher, and biscuit maker.
Execute food preparation tasks following established recipes and guidelines.
Ensure accurate portion control, maintain consistency in food quality, mitigate waste.
Operate cooking equipment with precision and attention to detail.
Prepare and assemble orders according to Vicious Biscuit's standards and presentation guidelines.
Monitor food temperatures and ensure that all food is cooked to perfection.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
Properly store and label food items to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
Assist in inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and notifying the management team of any shortages.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.
Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of kitchen waste.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the management team.
Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Communicate effectively with the front-of-house staff to coordinate order timings and maintain a seamless flow of service.
