About The Position

At Smoke Shack, located in the San Antonio International Airport, Shift Supervisors are responsible for the daily execution of the Mission Statement, which includes First Class Service to every customer. Shift Supervisors perform training functions, direct execution of standards and provide assistance and support to the Management team in achieving the goals of providing the best service to each guest. Shift Supervisors work in collaboration with the Food and Beverage team to ensure that the restaurants are running efficiently, daily tasks are completed from opening to closing to ensure optimal performance and provide overall supervision to the team. Requirements

  • Daily execution of the Mission Statement, including First Class Service to every customer.
  • Perform training functions.
  • Direct execution of standards.
  • Provide assistance and support to the Management team.
  • Work in collaboration with the Food and Beverage team to ensure restaurants are running efficiently.
  • Ensure daily tasks are completed from opening to closing to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide overall supervision to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greets, acknowledges, and takes guests drink and food order within 30 seconds of them entering the concept.
  • Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, while complying with the company’s Cash Handling and Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the restaurant's menu and products.
  • Make recommendations to guests to fit their needs, especially when questioned about potential food allergens.
  • Whether working in an on-trend national brand, or an iconic concept from the local community, you will create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public.
