About The Position

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a full-time or part-time Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role is for an experienced Cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality service and food to guests. The position offers an opportunity to join a collaborative team and contribute to guests' culinary experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months- 1-years' previous experience in back-of-the-house foodservice position preferred.
  • Familiarity and experience with knife handling preferred.
  • Exhibit working knowledge of scheduling.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip etc. a variety of foods and liquids.
  • Ability to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to handle or operate dangerous kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.
  • Standing and walking for entire length of shift, frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at waist, bending and squatting.
  • Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, mops and brooms.

Nice To Haves

  • High school education is desired; participation/enrollment in culinary program preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the supervision and observation of performance for the dishwashers and porters under the direction of the Sous Chef.
  • Ensure food items and kitchen utensils are prepared according to Delaware North standards of quality, consistency and timeliness.
  • Maintain and enforce sanitation procedures and organization of work area.
  • Places clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage area.
  • Utilizes and sanitizes kitchen equipment for the preparation of food items such as: knives, slicers, whisks, pots, pans, warmers, steamers, grills, ovens, etc.
  • Ensures proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly.
  • Performs opening, closing and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines.
  • Ensures workstation and equipment is clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
  • Follows and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations.
  • Meet all health department standards for safe food handling and operate equipment safely determined by position and OSHA regulations.
  • Ensures that all levels for sanitize.
