About The Position

The Kitchen Storekeeper is responsible for securing scheduled deliveries of food products, assisting with inventory, stocking and distributing food and non-food items, and maintaining sanitation of storage and work areas. This role also involves operating a Market van for community events and members, requiring a clean driving record. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

  • Experience in food receiving, storage and ordering preferred.
  • Must have basic knowledge of math and the ability to follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

  • Secure all scheduled deliveries of food products.
  • Assist in weekly and/or monthly physical inventory recording.
  • Stock all food and non-food items.
  • Distribute all food and non-food items.
  • Maintain daily sanitation of storage/work areas.
  • Operates the Market van to bring food to community events and community members, as needed. Must have a clean driving record.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
