About The Position
The Kitchen Storekeeper - Per Diem (Temp) is responsible for securing scheduled deliveries of food products, assisting with inventory, stocking and distributing food and non-food items, and maintaining sanitation of storage and work areas. This role also involves operating a market van for community events and members, with a requirement for a clean driving record. Additionally, the position includes cross-training in food preparation and sanitation, stocking cafeteria shelves and coolers, and performing other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in food receiving, storage and ordering preferred.
- Must have basic knowledge of math and the ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Must have a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Secure all scheduled deliveries of food products.
- Assist in weekly and/or monthly physical inventory recording.
- Stock all food and non-food items.
- Distribute all food and non-food items.
- Maintain daily sanitation of storage/work areas.
- Operates the Market van to bring food to community events and community members, as needed.
- Cross train in food prep
- Cross train in sanitation
- Help stock cafeteria shelves and coolers
- Performs other duties as needed.
