About The Position

We’re searching for a Steward to join our vibrant Culinary Team at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel! This is a permanent, full-time role (guaranteed minimum 30 hours/week) at $17.50/hour, where you’ll play an essential part in keeping our kitchen running smoothly—and shining brightly. Our Stewarding Team is the heartbeat of our culinary operations. Working behind the scenes but making a BIG impact, stewards ensure our kitchens are spotless, efficient, and ready to deliver unforgettable dining experiences. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to work confidently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable lifting heavy objects.
• Friendly, respectful, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep the dish pit, kitchen aisles, and dock areas sparkling clean, sanitized and organized.
• Operate dishwashing machines and wash, sort, and store all plates, glasses, silverware, and kitchen items properly.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance with proper uniform, hat/hair net, and work shoes.
• Break down trays, washing items, and restocking clean supplies using established procedures.
• Promote safety and accident prevention by keeping floors clean and dry, using wet floor signs, and immediately cleaning spills.
• Handle broken glass and china safely—always with tools, never hands.
• Safely stack racks and transport dish dollies with good visibility.
• Stay flexible and help where needed to keep the workflow smooth and efficient.
• Handle the physical demands of the role such as standing, bending, or walking for extended periods and lift, carry, push, pull, and move a carts with no assistance.
