Salt & Ash is seeking a part-time Kitchen Steward with a flexible schedule to join their team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish area, stocking supplies, and ensuring a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have previous dishwashing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Requirements

Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment an asset
Strong attention to detail
The ability to take direction and remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
Organizational skills and an ability to multi-task
Able to spend 100% of the time standing
The ability to handle heavy lifting up 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Operating dishwashers efficiently
Washing glassware and flatware
Polishing all glassware and flatware
Cleaning and sanitizing dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks
Receiving, stocking and organizing food and supply orders
Safely handling and storing cleaning products
General dish area maintenance which includes sweeping, mopping, organization and removal of garbage and compost
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned
