About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment and workspaces are properly cleaned and organized. The Kitchen Steward will also assist the kitchen and event teams as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the food and beverage operations.

Requirements

  • Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or squat for long periods
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces
  • Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils in designated areas
  • Manage trash and recycling, including cleaning bins and maintaining the dock area
  • Support kitchen and event teams with setup, breakdown, and occasional dish-up assistance
  • Help ensure consistent sanitation standards across all food and beverage workspaces
