About The Position
The Boulders Resort and Spa is a large, high-end resort that spans an impressive 33,000 sq. ft. Offering a luxurious spa, championship golf, and exclusive service in a uniquely dramatic setting - 1,300 acres of the Sonoran Desert foothills with panoramic views of 12-million-year-old boulder formations. The Kitchen Steward's responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the appearance of all BOH areas of the hotel and deep cleaning of all kitchens. Driving golf carts may be required.
Requirements
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of all BOH areas of the hotel.
- Deep cleaning of all kitchens.
- Driving golf carts when needed (property specific).
- Clean Kitchens and BOH areas (including floors, walls, equipment, stainless, and vents)
- Practice safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests, fellow associates, and self.
- Complete the daily assignment checklist and submit it to the supervisor at the end of the day.
- Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
