About The Position

At Rokkaku Hamakatsu, we are passionate about our full dining Japanese restaurant features local cuisine ranging from comfort food favorites to finer dining selections – We are currently seeking kitchen staff (part-time) who are motivated, value teamwork, and—above all—possess reliable cooking experience. The purpose of this role is to prepare and cook dishes for lunch, dinner during restaurant operating hours. Responsibilities also include washing cooking equipment and utensils, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

2 + years experience as a cook in a full-service, dine-in restaurant.
Experience with a variety of cooking methods and techniques.
Strong work ethic, team focus, and commitment to customer service.
Competent knife skills to complete tasks with precision and efficiency.
Positive attitude, punctual on time, and team player.
Ability to follow directions precisely and efficiently.
Passion for food knowledge.
Ability to lift 35 lbs.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including morning and night hours, weekends, and holidays.
Must possess a valid State of Hawaii TB clearance card.
Ability to stand for a long period of time and work in a fast-pace environment.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Ability to develop positive work relationships, collaborate and work cohesively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
