About The Position
Join Southcoast Health, a not-for-profit, charitable, health system with multiple hospitals, clinics and facilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are searching for a talented Kitchen Porter to work 16 hours per week on a day shift with weekend and holiday rotation, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA. Requirements
- Ability to follow written instructions.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with proper food safety/sanitary procedures are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Washing and sanitizing pots, pans, and utensils.
- Taking out the trash.
- Cleaning of the floors.
- General sanitation.
- Performing other reasonable duties as assigned.
