These days and times could be adjusted to suit business needs and every effort will be made to notify in advance of any changes.

Requirements

  • Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative.
  • A good knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP.
  • Good understanding of English.

Responsibilities

  • Checking in of food deliveries ensuring that only the highest standards of produce is accepted into the units.
  • Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular H.A.C.C.P regulations
  • Raise any quality concerns while accepting in deliveries to the Head Chef or the Catering Manager immediately.
  • To ensure that all food storage complies with food hygiene regulations and that F.I.F.O stock rotation system is being followed.
  • Cleaning duties associated with food production/service and related equipment and/or furniture.
  • Complete all assigned items on cleaning schedules and signing off on relevant paperwork.
  • Support the preparation of service area and/or service points.
  • Support the service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by OCS Catering.
  • Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
  • Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
  • Record daily waste
  • Attend in-house training sessions.
  • Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform to company regulations at all times.
  • To present an image at all times conducive to good customer relations.
  • Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy.
  • Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Understand and adhere to C.O.S.H.H Regulations, wear the correct personal protective equipment (P.P.E) and to observe manual handling regulations when lifting pulling or carrying heavy objects.
  • To be aware of safety hazards within the kitchen and surrounding areas and to report them to your line manager
  • Other duties assigned by your line manager from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department.
