About The Position

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is seeking a Kitchen Manager for its Troy, NY location. Founded in 1983, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que started as a mobile concession unit and opened its first restaurant in 1988. The company has since grown to five locations across New York State, known for its commitment to fresh, homemade, high-quality Bar-B-Que, including smoked meats, salads, sides, sauces, and dry rubs. The company prides itself on a vibrant and lively setting and a diverse staff with a fierce devotion to individuality and respect.

Requirements

2+ years of Full-Service restaurant management experience required.
2+ years of BOH experience required.
Knowledge of inventory and budgeting required.
High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Management of at least 15 staff members preferred.
Chef experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide uncompromised excellence at all times, making the Guest and the Bar-B-Que the heart and passion of all they do.
Ensure the greatest degree of Hospitality to the Guests.
Ensure consistent execution of all BOH systems and profitability by providing and ensuring quality training, coaching, and follow-through.
Demonstrate knowledge and practical application of all Kitchen (Expo, Smokehouse, prep and line quality identifiers and standards) and Dining Room systems and operations (ToGo, Host, Bar, and service standards).
