About The Position

Calyx Living is seeking an energetic Kitchen Manager for its assisted living community. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for creating an exceptional and memorable dining experience for seniors and leading all aspects of the dining department. The role includes coordinating staff schedules and managing the purchasing, preparation, and service of food. The position is for a brand-new, contemporary assisted living community.

Requirements

• Demonstrated passion for working with the senior population.
• Cooking experience is required.
• Experience managing teams.
• ServeSafe Certification.
• Understanding of therapeutic diets.
• Ability to work 45–50 hours per week, including weekends, with a flexible schedule.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong cooking and people skills.
• Creativity.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience is preferred.
