Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required).
  • Knowledge of Health, Sanitation, and Food Preparation Standards.
  • Ability to Stand/Walk for Extended Periods, Lift 20-50+ Pounds Frequently (up to 100 Pounds Infrequently), and Communicate Effectively.
  • All Offers Are Contingent on Background Checks.
  • Adhering to Newport Handbook Policies Is Required.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 Months to a Year of Cooking and Baking Experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and Assist with Food Preparation Across All Stations, Ensuring Quality and Adherence to Restaurant Standards.
  • Manage Inventory, Ensure Proper Food Storage, and Maintain a Clean and Sanitized Work Environment.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff, Assist with Training, and Foster Strong Working Relationships.
  • Adhere to All Safety, Sanitation, and Company Policies, Including Pci Compliance.
  • Operate and Maintain Kitchen Appliances and Report Any Maintenance Needs.
  • Be Available to Work Various Shifts, Including Holidays, Weekdays, and Weekends, As the Hotel Operates 24/7.
