Position Overview The Manager, Property Management leads a team of Building Managers while overseeing facilities operations, leasing activities, vendor relationships, and property financials. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing strategy and execution while ensuring WCF's properties are well-maintained, efficient, and positioned for future growth. The manager works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support facility operations, space planning, lease administration, budgeting, and property-related financial activities. This is a full-time, exempt position based out of the Sandy, Utah headquarters reporting to the VP, Chief Investment Officer. This position is fully in-office, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related or equivalent experience.
  • Seven or more years of experience in property, facility, or lease management, including at least five years leading and developing teams.
  • Solid understanding of building systems, maintenance programs, and construction or tenant improvement projects.
  • Experience managing corporate real estate portfolios, including multi-location facilities and both owned and leased properties.
  • Strong knowledge of property accounting concepts, budgeting, invoice processing, and operating expense/CAM reconciliations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey expectations, provide constructive feedback, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight of facilities operations across the Sandy headquarters and branch offices, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing work environments aligned with organizational needs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop facilities staff by setting clear expectations and monitoring performance.
  • Direct and oversee leasing activities as both landlord and tenant, including lease negotiation support, administration, and ensuring compliance with contractual and financial obligations.
  • Lead space planning and occupancy strategies, including moves, adds, and changes, to optimize space utilization, support growth, and enhance employee experience.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for facility-related matters, proactively engaging stakeholders, resolving complex issues, and ensuring clear, timely communication.
  • Lead capital projects and renovations from planning through execution, including scope development, vendor selection, budget oversight, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Oversee property financials, including rent, utilities, and operating expenses, ensuring accuracy, budget alignment, and accountability in CAM and operating expense reconciliations.
  • Holds overall accountability for facility performance, service continuity, regulatory compliance, and alignment of property operations with organizational priorities and long-term business needs.
  • Ensures vendor and service partner relationships support operational goals through clear standards, strong contract oversight, performance accountability, and sound stewardship of company resources.
  • Drives operational excellence by establishing priorities, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time, and reinforcing accountability across the team and vendor partners.
  • Establishes and oversees routine inspection programs for facility systems and equipment, ensuring issues are identified early and addressed proactively to minimize risk and downtime.
  • Maintains accountability for prioritizing maintenance and capital work in a manner that protects business operations, manages risk, and supports effective coordination across stakeholders.
