This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, time-sensitive maritime environment serving dining cruises, weddings, and private events. Requirements

  • 2+ years of kitchen management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership in high-volume service environments
  • Ability to manage multiple menus within tight timelines
  • ServSafe certified (or able to obtain)
  • Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Comfortable working aboard moving vessels with small kitchens

Responsibilities

  • Lead galley operations during high-volume cruise service
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and timely execution
  • Supervise and schedule culinary staff
  • Manage ordering, inventory (FIFO), and cost control
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and maritime compliance
