About The Position

Nashville Riverboats is looking for a reliable and hardworking Porter to support our kitchen and vessel operations as we continue to grow. Nashville Riverboats delivers unforgettable sightseeing cruises, dining experiences, weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations on the Cumberland River. We blend Southern hospitality, live entertainment, and scenic river cruising into one-of-a-kind experiences.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Comfortable working near water, in tight kitchen spaces, and varying temperatures
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy
• Organize and store inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas at all times
• Assist in stocking, labeling, and tracking inventory
• Monitor product freshness and minimize waste
• Support kitchen and operations teams with general tasks as needed
• Help maintain cleanliness on vessels, docks, and storage areas
