About The Position

The Kitchen Manager is a hands-on leader and a key member of the store leadership team. Working closely with the Store Manager, this role trains, guides, and engages kitchen Team Members to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The Kitchen Manager manages day-to-day kitchen operations, focuses on food safety standards, oversees inventory, and influences activities in prepared foods and dispensed beverage areas to maximize productivity and profitability. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Kitchen Manager is accountable for kitchen activities, maintaining 5S standards, and supporting smooth daily operations. The position may also perform Store Team Member duties when needed. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.25 per hour, with quarterly bonus opportunities based on kitchen performance. Actual pay may vary based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, qualifications, local prevailing wages, and internal equity.

Responsibilities

Train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members; delegate tasks effectively and coach for success.
Manage and influence operational activities in prepared foods and dispensed beverages to optimize performance, under the supervision of the Store Manager.
Partner with the Store Manager and be accountable for kitchen activities, maintaining 5S standards and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Oversee kitchen inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to kitchen service, keeping the Store Manager informed.
Model and coach Casey’s CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, and Service.
Perform Store Team Member duties when needed.
