Responsibilities
- Help lead the day-to-day back-of-house operation with a focus on safety, training, execution, and profitability
- Partner with the management team to execute action plans and keep kitchen operations running at a high level
- Support back-of-house staffing, scheduling, performance management, and performance evaluations
- Coach, develop, and motivate hourly kitchen team members to perform with consistency and confidence
- Build a kitchen culture that is results-driven, solution-oriented, and grounded in teamwork
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the Home Office, supervisors, management team, and restaurant staff
- Serve as a brand ambassador by representing Carolina Ale House with professionalism and pride
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety standards, procedures, and applicable laws
- Help manage cost of sales and controllable expenses through strong shift execution and operational discipline
- Lead with an ownership mindset and help drive results through accountability, consistency, and stewardship
