About The Position

National Star Services, a 27-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking Kitchen Helpers for its Des Plaines, IL 60018 location. This role involves being part of a team that creates high-end products for hundreds of international airline guests daily.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the US.
• Must have two updated valid forms of IDs.
• Need to have and wear Slip Resistant shoes at work.
• A Background check and Drug test will be conducted.
• Must have own transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be able to start working as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and cooks with different tasks in the kitchen: food preparation, cutting fruits and vegetables, preparing small dishes, food platting and setting up airline catering trays.
• Read, understand and follow menu specifications.
• Keep kitchen areas clean and tidy.
• Comply with hygiene, quality and safety standards at all times.
