About The Position

The Kitchen Helper sanitizes and cleans dishes, silverware, and glassware by hand or using an automatic dishwasher. The role also involves washing pots, pans, and trays; sweeping and mopping kitchen floors; maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and surfaces; and disposing of waste in designated areas.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be knowledgeable about proper chemicals and techniques used in the course of job duties.
• Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and clean dishes, silverware, and glassware by hand or with an automatic dishwasher.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Dispose of waste in designated waste areas.
