About The Position

The Kitchen Helper is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and trays, either by hand or with an automatic dishwasher. The role also maintains kitchen cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning kitchen surfaces and equipment, and disposing of waste in designated areas.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be knowledgeable about proper chemicals and techniques used in the course of job duties.
• Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and clean dishes, silverware, glassware, and flatware by hand or with an automatic dishwasher.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Dispose of waste in designated waste areas.
