About The Position

Chez Alice in Princeton is seeking team-oriented candidates for a Kitchen Help position. No experience is required, and on-site training is available. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work weekends and/or holidays if needed.

The role is performed in a kitchen environment with exposure to noise, heat, temperature changes, kitchen elements, odors, and moisture. The noise level is usually moderate to high. The position requires regular use of hands to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing; standing and walking are frequently required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and focus.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare meal ingredients for the cooks, including peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients.
• Assist kitchen staff with food supplies.
• Wash and dry dishes and utensils and put them where they belong.
• Pack takeout orders as needed.
• Remove garbage and replace bags as needed.
• Maintain the kitchen’s cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
