About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is seeking motivated individuals to join its team as Kitchen Crew Members. Kitchen Crew supports back-of-house operations and helps deliver high-quality food to customers. This hourly position offers compensation of $20.00 per hour. The role may be part-time or full-time.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a fast-casual restaurant with more than 100 locations across California and Arizona. The company prepares Hawaiian plate lunches and other island specialties from scratch daily, using fresh ingredients and grilling food to order. Its aim is to bring Hawaiian culture and the Aloha spirit to its restaurants through exceptional service and an inviting atmosphere.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures and the Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Prepare food, stock inventory, and maintain food quality and portion control when cooking and serving at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure food is served accurately and on time.
• Maintain store cleanliness by completing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
