About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is seeking motivated Kitchen Crew Members to support back-of-house operations and prepare high-quality food for customers. The hourly position pays $20.00 per hour. Kitchen Crew Members prepare food from scratch, stock inventory, maintain food quality and portion control, and prepare accurate, timely orders at the cookline. They also follow health and safety requirements and company procedures, complete cleaning and sanitizing tasks, and maintain reliable attendance. The role may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Follow the Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Prepare food, stock inventory, and maintain food quality and portion control when cooking and serving at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure they are served accurately and promptly.
• Maintain store cleanliness by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
