About The Position
The Capital District YMCA is seeking a Part-time Kitchen Assistant. Under the direction and supervision of the Residence Food Service Supervisor this position assists in all aspects of the meal program at the Schenectady Men's Residence.
Requirements
- MUST be 18 years of age or older.
- The ability and willingness to follow directions.
- Proficiency in using kitchen appliances and equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Cooking experience in a quantity food service capacity including catering and banquet preparation, or enrollment or newly graduated from a culinary arts program is preferred.
- A current ServSafe certification is preferred.
