About The Position

The Claiborne at Roswell, a Claiborne Senior Living community, is hiring a Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher to help create a welcoming, high-quality dining experience for residents. This role supports a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment in a fast-paced, team-oriented senior living community, where relationships with residents and coworkers matter.

The Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher transports, washes, sanitizes, and stores kitchen items; keeps kitchen, dish room, and dining areas clean and organized; assists with kitchen breakdown and daily cleaning; and supports dining room service when needed. The role follows sanitation and safety standards, interacts professionally with residents, families, and guests, communicates resident well-being concerns to a supervisor, and works with the team to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Team player with a positive, reliable attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant or dining experience preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport dishes, utensils, and equipment to and from the kitchen.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store kitchen items.
• Keep the dish room, kitchen, and dining areas clean and organized.
• Assist with kitchen breakdown and daily cleaning tasks.
• Support dining room service when needed.
• Follow sanitation and safety standards to maintain a safe environment.
• Interact with residents, families, and guests in a friendly and professional way.
• Communicate concerns about resident well-being to a supervisor.
• Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly.
