About The Position

The Dishwasher makes sure dishes are properly cleaned for food service. The role includes washing and organizing dishes and kitchen items, maintaining clean counters and dining areas, handling trash and cardboard, cleaning and restocking bathrooms, and sweeping and mopping areas in the front and back of house. The position works in a kitchen environment where noise is usually moderate to high.

Requirements

• Regularly use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Frequently stand and walk.
• Have close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to focus.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish (not required).

Responsibilities

• Fill sinks with appropriate cleaning solutions and change them as needed.
• Clean and organize dirty pans, plates, containers, and other items.
• Check trash cans regularly and take out the trash.
• Run dirty dishes, plates, and utensils through the dishwasher.
• Return clean plates to the front service area and place them on the proper shelves.
• Keep a broom and clean mop ready for accidents or spills in both the front and back of house.
• Clean counters, bus bins, glass tops, display cases, and dining areas.
• Break down cardboard boxes.
• Check, clean, and restock bathrooms.
• Pull mats from the floor, sweep the area, and mop both the front and back of house.
