About The Position
Under the supervision of the Food Service Manager/Head Cook, Kitchen Aides are responsible to assist in the preparation of meals and kitchen operations for Newaygo County seniors.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid Michigan Driver's License
- Must submit to pre-employment drug testing and background check.
- All offers of employment are contingent upon passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which includes marijuana.
Nice To Haves
- Six (6) months of prior experience in a food preparation environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparations, washing dishes, cleaning kitchen, and any other kitchen duties that may be assigned.
- Cleaning tables and chairs in the dining room, preparing vegetables for the salad bar, helping with beverages, serving meals if necessary, and organizing meal supplies.
