The Space Physics Group in the Department of Astrophysical Sciences is seeking a Kit Assembly Associate to prepare kits and to manage inventory. The kits are on topics related to the NASA IMAP science mission. This is a part-time, temporary summer job on Princeton University’s campus. The schedule will be approximately 20-25 hours per week during weekday business hours. The hourly compensation for this role ranges from $17 to $18, commensurate with experience. About IMAP: Launched in 2025, NASA’s Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP) explores our solar neighborhood by decoding particles from the Sun and beyond our cosmic shield. The spacecraft carries 10 cutting-edge instruments and orbits about one million miles from Earth toward the Sun, allowing it to study the boundary of the Solar System and provide warnings of harmful radiation. About IMAP Outreach: IMAP Outreach engages community organizations across the country through themed educational activities and communications.
