About The Position

The Kingdom Kids Director provides coordination and administrative support to the Kingdom Kids team. This role involves supporting the Kingdom Kids Team Support Kids Pastor in communication, encouragement, and administration of volunteers. Key responsibilities include recruiting, leading, and training Sunday volunteers, as well as administering the onboarding process for leaders, including background checks and paperwork. The role also focuses on the spiritual development within the Kingdom Kids Ministry, including curriculum development, printing, and personal spiritual growth. Regular discipleship with leaders is a key component, along with preparing weekend supplies and meeting with the Kids Pastor. Additionally, the director prepares content for Tuesday discipleship nights for elementary-aged children and leaders, works with the Kids Specialist on recruiting and hiring workers, and assists with strategy and planning for Tuesday nights. The role requires being on-site for Tuesday discipleship coordination and facilitating. On weekends, the director provides support to ensure a safe and engaging church service for children, is ready to teach, work with leaders, connect with kids, and facilitate Sunday mornings. This includes assisting the Kids Pastor with weekend services, covering in their absence, and being present in the Kingdom Kids area to offer customer service to families and children. Regular attendance at one weekend service is encouraged when possible.

Responsibilities

Provide coordination and administrative support to the Kingdom Kids team.
Support the Kingdom Kids Team Support Kids Pastor in communication, encouragement, and administration of volunteers.
Recruit, lead, and train Sunday volunteers.
Administer onboarding for leaders, including background checks, MRT, and all other paperwork.
Train new leaders and provide continued training for current leaders.
Develop and write curriculum.
Print and prepare curriculum.
Participate in personal spiritual development.
Invest time and discipleship regularly with leaders via text, email, or in-person meetings.
Prepare weekend supplies for all ages of Kingdom Kids Ministry (Sundays & Tuesdays Leader boxes, supply errands, etc.).
Put away and organize supplies.
Meet regularly with Kids pastor.
Prepare content for Elementary age kids and leaders for discipleship on Tuesday evenings.
Print curriculum and prepare supplies for each EL room.
Work with Kids Specialist on recruiting and hiring workers for discipleship classes.
Work with Kids Pastor/TT leader on strategy and planning for TT nights.
Administer paperwork for all childcare and discipleship workers.
Recruit and interview potential workers for Tuesdays.
Be on site for Tuesday discipleship coordination and help facilitate.
Provide support where needed in Kingdom Kids on weekends to help provide a safe and engaging church service for our children.
Be ready to teach whole group lessons, work with leaders, connect with kids, and facilitate Sunday mornings.
Assist Kingdom Kids Pastor with weekend services, including covering in the event of their absence.
Be available and present in the Kingdom Kids area during weekend services, offering great customer service to our families and children.
Regularly attend one weekend service when able.
