The Kingdom Kids Director provides coordination and administrative support to the Kingdom Kids team. This role involves supporting the Kingdom Kids Team Support Kids Pastor in communication, encouragement, and administration of volunteers. Key responsibilities include recruiting, leading, and training Sunday volunteers, as well as administering the onboarding process for leaders, including background checks and paperwork. The role also focuses on the spiritual development within the Kingdom Kids Ministry, including curriculum development, printing, and personal spiritual growth. Regular discipleship with leaders is a key component, along with preparing weekend supplies and meeting with the Kids Pastor. Additionally, the director prepares content for Tuesday discipleship nights for elementary-aged children and leaders, works with the Kids Specialist on recruiting and hiring workers, and assists with strategy and planning for Tuesday nights. The role requires being on-site for Tuesday discipleship coordination and facilitating. On weekends, the director provides support to ensure a safe and engaging church service for children, is ready to teach, work with leaders, connect with kids, and facilitate Sunday mornings. This includes assisting the Kids Pastor with weekend services, covering in their absence, and being present in the Kingdom Kids area to offer customer service to families and children. Regular attendance at one weekend service is encouraged when possible.
