Our multidisciplinary clinic, situated in the Sunalta area of SW Calgary, has numerous private rooms, a well-equipped gym area, and a spacious open rehabilitation space. Here, we provide collaborative care through a dedicated team of Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, and Massage Therapists, ensuring comprehensive and integrated healthcare services. We are presently seeking a Full-Time enthusiastic Kinesiologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate must be able to commit to at least a one-year term. Whether you are choosing Kinesiology as a career path or planning on becoming a Physiotherapist, Chiropractor or another healthcare professional, we encourage you to apply. Requirements
- Degree in Kinesiology
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Nice To Haves
- Previous volunteer or work experience in a Physiotherapy or Multidisciplinary clinic an asset
Responsibilities
- Prescription, application, supervision and education of patient’s Therapeutic Exercise Programs including: AROM, PROM, stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance and strengthening
- Assist Physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations
- Learn and administer several hands-on treatment techniques including basic trigger point release, MRT, Instrumented Soft Tissue Release, Friction massage and hold relax stretching
- Application and removal of modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro-current and Muscle Stimulation
- Assisting with clinic up-keep such as laundry, cleaning patient beds, filling ultrasound gel, and cleaning machines and tools
- Greet patients and ensure they have a comfortable experience in the clinic
