KinderSprouts Early Literacy Teacher
About The Position
The KinderSprouts program is designed to assist qualifying four-year (4) olds in developing early literacy skills through instruction and play. This role involves cultivating cognitive growth, social skills, and curiosity through play, meaningful work, and caring relationships. The teacher will develop lesson plans and instructional materials based on district-approved curriculum, provide individualized and small group instruction, and translate lesson plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Responsibilities also include evaluating pupils' academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, preparing progress reports, identifying pupil needs, making appropriate referrals, and developing strategies for individual education plans. Establishing effective rapport with students and communicating regularly with parents through various channels, including potential home visits, are key aspects of the role.
Requirements
- Montana teaching certificate with elementary or early childhood endorsement area.
- At least a year of successful teaching experience in an elementary classroom.
- Multiple areas of endorsement.

Responsibilities
