Catholic Kindergarten Teacher
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part-time Kindergarten teacher for its classical and Catholic classroom in Brookfield, CT. This role does not require formal teaching certification or experience, as comprehensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate may have experience in homeschooling, working with homeschool children, parish ministry, teaching Religious Education or Catechism, or teaching in classical/private schools. Regina Caeli Academy is a national organization that provides instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. This is an hourly position with childcare/nursery provided. Employees are expected to adhere to the provided vacation and Holy Days schedule, with accommodations for sick days. A deep commitment to the Catholic faith and the ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity are required. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be supplied, and tutors will receive training in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The role demands strong communication skills, good organization, punctuality, a traditional view of the student-teacher relationship, and a commitment to living the Catholic faith daily, including receiving appropriate sacraments. All staff must pass a background check and complete RCA Safe Child training.
Requirements
- Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.

- Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
- Must be available to attend mandatory training days on August 10, 11, and 12, 2026 (8 am-5 pm).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must complete RCA Safe Child training.
