About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Kindergarten teacher for its classical and Catholic classroom in Brookfield, CT. This role involves teaching in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. The position is hourly, and childcare/nursery is provided during working hours. While formal teaching certification or experience is not required, applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will receive training in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, punctuality, a traditional view of the student-teacher relationship, and must be actively living the Catholic faith, including having received all appropriate sacraments. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching. Tutors are expected to prepare for classes at home and teach in a highly structured environment. Mandatory training days are scheduled for August 10, 11, and 12, 2026, from 8 am to 5 pm, with no childcare provided for training, though nursing infants are welcome.
