About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part-time Kindergarten Assistant for a classical and Catholic classroom for the 2026-27 academic year. This role does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as all necessary training will be provided. The academy is a classical homeschool program in the Catholic tradition, offering instruction in a Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Childcare and nursery are provided. While not required, experience in homeschooling, parish ministry, teaching Religious Education or Catechism, teaching one's own children, or teaching in a classical/private school is a plus. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will be trained in RCA's standards for instruction and classroom management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, punctuality, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be actively living the Catholic faith, including having received appropriate sacraments.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day.
• Having received all sacraments appropriate to one's state in life.
• Completion of a background check.
• Completion of RCA Safe Child training.
• Availability for mandatory training on August 10, 11, or 12, 2026.
