About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a Catholic part-time Kindergarten Assistant to support a classical and Catholic classroom. While formal teaching experience or certification is not required, the ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith and be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. This is an hourly position with childcare/nursery provided. The academy offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will receive training on RCA standards for instruction and classroom management. The role requires strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and a commitment to living the Catholic faith daily, including having received appropriate sacraments. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.

Requirements

• Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Must complete a background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training.
• Must be available to attend one mandatory training day on August 3, 4, or 6, 2026 (TBD) prior to working in the classroom (8am-5pm).
• Strong communication skills.

• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
