About The Position
This role involves working collaboratively with an educator team to facilitate the inclusion of all children, including those with disabilities and/or complex medical needs, in their funded kindergarten program. The position is with Yooralla's Kindergarten Inclusion Support (KIS) Service, aiming to support children with disabilities in choosing the lives they want to live. The role offers a fun environment, flexible hours, continuous support, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Requirements
- Prior experience in the kindergarten/early childhood and/or disability services sector.
- A deep understanding and commitment to the principles and practices of inclusion, family-centered, and strengths-based approaches.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptability to effectively navigate evolving situations.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a flexible and adaptable demeanor.
- Demonstrated initiative and a proactive work ethic.
- Proficiency in computer use for email and internet.
- Successful appointment with Yooralla is subject to mandatory safeguarding checks, including (but not limited to) a Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and evidence of Australian work rights, etc.
