About The Position

Arlington Public Schools is hiring a 1.0 FTE Kindergarten Assistant, A-09, for 187 working days at Innovation Elementary School. The role supports elementary students and works under teacher direction and supervision. The position is benefit-eligible, with salary based on the FY2026-27 salary schedule at $24.60–$46.79 per hour.

Requirements

• Meet the highly qualified requirements: have a high school diploma and either an associate degree or two years of college study (at least 60 semester hours, including 12 hours in English or mathematics depending on job responsibilities), or score at least 455 on the ParaPro Test.
• Experience working with elementary students.
