Kids Supervisor
About The Position
The Kids Supervisor provides engaging, safe, and entertaining play for children ages three months to 11 years within the Academy and classes. The role manages and implements activities and games, monitors children and their surroundings, maintains operational documentation and cleaning checklists, and supports staffing. The Kids Supervisor also promotes Life Time Kids programs, products, and services, and evaluates, coaches, and provides feedback to team members. Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Complete all required Kids On-Demand Learning Certifications before the first day of work.
- Obtain First Aid certification and Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification within the first 60 days of hire.
- Complete all state or federal requirements before the first day of work.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children.
- Ability to engage a group of children in an activity.
- Customer service and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet, acknowledge, and interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Engage children in interactive activities, including storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games.
- Monitor and interact with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment, including attention to toys, sports equipment, other children, and surroundings.
- Maintain operational documentation, audit and delegate cleaning checklists, and support staffing.
- Promote and sell Life Time Kids programs, products, and services.
- Complete Team Member Evaluations and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
