About The Position

Coach soccer skills classes for children ages 5–10 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. Programs run Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Coaches typically teach one approximately one-hour class per day, with the possibility of an additional 30 minutes of pre-care. The sessions are designed to provide a fun, energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children. This is a part-time role of approximately 2–5 hours per week, paying $50–$65 per session; the posting also lists compensation as $50–$65 per hour. All class equipment is provided. Coaches must live locally, be available to work in person, and have reliable transportation. A two-day training or shadowing session is required before starting.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years old when applying.
• Must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Must enjoy working with children in a positive, active setting.
• Must be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
• Must already be eligible to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the sport being applied for, coaching, or working with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage classes of 8–16 students and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a two-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents and school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
• Provide a photo and short biography for the company website and introduce relevant sports experience.
