About The Position

The Lifepointe Kids Saturday Director provides leadership and oversight for all Lifepointe Kids environments during Lifepointe’s Saturday service. The role aims to create a Saturday experience consistent with Sunday mornings in vision, programming, safety, culture, and excellence, while building an empowered volunteer leadership team. The Director is the primary Kids leader on campus during Saturday service and ensures all Kids environments are staffed, prepared, supported, and led without requiring regular Family Ministries staff to be present.

Family Ministries staff provide the vision, programming, systems, and resources. The Saturday Director owns their execution and leadership on Saturdays and works with Family Ministries staff during the week to maintain alignment. The role also includes leading a pre-service team VIP meeting and shepherding volunteers and families.

Lifepointe seeks a follower of Jesus who feels called to serve in a local church setting. Previous experience in children’s ministry or working with children is preferred. The position also carries expectations concerning personal faith, character, relational and administrative skills, participation in church life, and loyalty to Lifepointe’s vision and unity.

Responsibilities

• Lead Saturday Lifepointe Kids Ministries.
• Build and lead the Saturday volunteer team.
• Develop leaders who can lead others and help ensure the long-term health of Saturday Lifepointe Kids Ministry.
• Work closely with Family Ministries staff throughout the week to maintain alignment between Sunday and Saturday ministry.
• Execute and lead the vision, programming, systems, and resources provided by Family Ministries staff during Saturday service.
• Oversee Saturday service readiness.
• Lead a pre-service Lifepointe Kids team VIP meeting to prepare, encourage, and spiritually center the team before families arrive.
• Shepherd volunteers and families.
• Ensure all Kids environments are fully staffed, prepared, supported, and led during Saturday service.
