About The Position
The Elmhurst Park District is seeking a part-time Kids Plus Attendant for its quality drop-in childcare program at Courts Plus. This role involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and implementation of a program designed to support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Requirements
- Some high school education
- Understanding of childcare needs and requirements
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing a program designed to support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Enforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order.
- Prepare materials for daily activities prior to opening.
- Adapt activities to meet the needs and interests of children of all ability levels.
- Supervise children of mixed ages.
- Maintain cleanliness of Kids Plus and equipment.
