About The Position

City Life Church is seeking a warm, organized, and dependable Kids Ministry Coordinator to help lead and support our Children’s Ministry environments each week. This part-time/full-time role includes preparation and administration, along with Sunday morning leadership and coordination responsibilities. The Kids Ministry Coordinator will be responsible for volunteer scheduling, communication, classroom readiness, curriculum coordination, and creating welcoming environments for children and families. This role helps ensure Sundays run smoothly by supporting volunteers, preparing ministry spaces, troubleshooting issues, and helping families feel cared for and connected. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, relational warmth, consistency, and a genuine heart for children and families. The ideal candidate enjoys working with volunteers, building healthy team culture, and creating environments where kids can feel safe, welcomed, and engaged.

Requirements

Strong organization, communication, and volunteer coordination skills
Warm, welcoming, and relational personality with a heart for children and families
Ability to lead calmly and effectively in fast-paced Sunday environments
Dependable with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Comfortable coordinating schedules, supplies, curriculum, and team communication
Ability to work collaboratively with ministry leaders and volunteers
A strong alignment with the mission, values, and culture of City Life Church

Nice To Haves

Previous experience serving in children’s ministry, volunteer coordination, education, childcare, or similar environments
Bible college or ministry training
Experience leading teams or coordinating volunteers
